Reposted from our friend, @jauqojauqojauqobass

"I've been an Ashdown artist since 1999.

I have used at least 65-75% of the various amps (solid state, tube, hybrid and class D) and cab models that Ashdown offers since 1999.

I can say with out a doubt and from long time use experience that the Ashdown RM800 EVO III class D head is one of the best sounding and most versatile bass amps i have come across in a very long time with out losing that Ashdown EVO dna.

Not losing that EVO DNA connection is a huge plus for me.

It's class D but the sound can be pushed and in doing so it still maintains a very nice not so class D sounding amp.

It's super light( under( 6 pounds) but it definitely sounds a lot bigger than what it weighs.

I have used it through various Ashdown cab configurations and it sounds great coming out of all of them.

The cab in the pic is the RM610 T cab and it kills.

Ashdown most definitely knocked it out of the park with the RM800 EVO III."
