Pepe Lee Luis is a self-taught musician, he started with the electric bass in the early '80s with the Almeria band "Forajidos", although they only played live once. Later he was part of the Almeria band "The Wanderers". It was already when he happened to play the double bass. Now Pepe is the double bass player with The Sun Rockets. The Sun Rockets are a 50's Classics Rockabilly Trio in Almeria, desert city south of Spain, near to Malaga.
